IAS Officer Dhiman Chakma caught red handed for taking 10 lakh bribe from a business man in Odisha
According to the report of Odisha Vigilance department Dhiman Chakma was posted as a sub collector in Kalahandi district Dharamgarh .
Dhiman Chakma an IAS officer caught red handed while accepting a bribe of 10 lakh from a business man in Kalahandi , Odisha .
The Odisha Vigilance department said that Dhiman Chakma was posted as a sub collector in the district of Kalahandi , Odisha at Dharamgarh . As per the report Chakma elligaly damand Rs 20 lakh from a local business man in Kalahandi . He took Rs 10 lakh for first installment , during that time he caught red handed by the vigilance team .
According to the report the business man was threatened by the official while refusing to pay the amount. The investigation was started after his complaint against the Sub collector of Kalahandi .

Dhiman Chakma is 2021 batch officer and he is from Kanchanpur in Tripura . Hw studied Computer Science at The National Institute of technology , Agartala . After clearing the UPSC exam he posted as an Indian Forest Service officer in Mayurbhanj District , Odisha . Recently he was posted as a sub collector in Kalahandi district .
