Recently a large number of highly educated candidates appeared for the homeguard recruitment test held in Rourkela , Odisha . The minimum educational qualification for this post is Class V but highly qualified students like MBA , MCA , B Tech , Diploma & ITI are applying for the vacancy .
The total number of vacancies are 107 for the post of home guard . The total number of applicants are 9061 . Most of the candidates are highly qualified ( MBA , MCA , B Tech , Diploma etc... ) .
The monthly salary for the post of home guard is Rs 18,360 . The recruitment process started in the morning ( 7:30 am ) at Sector -6 Ispat stadium . The exam conducted with a 30 minute writing test for 20 marks and 40 marks of general knowledge .
The candidates are also undergo a walk of 2 km test . After that candidates are gone through the personal interview in subsequent phases . Additionally drones were deployed during the examination for monitoring the candidates .
