Odisha to ban non-veg food and liquor near Jagannath temple
Puri Jagannath Temple is one of the most visited place in India . The Jagannath Dham is famous all over the world . Presently Odisha government has decided to ban sale on Non vegetarian food and Alcohol near Jagannath Temple . Non vegetarian food and lequre will be band on the Grand road ( Within 2 km radius of Jagannath temple ) .
Law minister Prithviraj Harichandan clarify that the government decided that sale on Non vegetarian food and lequre are prohibited within 2 km radius of the Jagannath Temple .
So due the new desission there will be no lequre Shop or bar on the grand road . The grand road connect the Jagannath Temple and Gundicha temple , on this road not only meat but also other Non veg items will be band .
So over all it is a good dissission that should be taken as soon as possible . The Jagannath Temple is a hollyplace that should be kept clean and Non veg free area ( Within 2 km radius from Jagannath Temple to Gundicha temple ) .
The Shree Jagannath Temple administration previously requested to the Housing and Urban development department to frame norms and uniform architectural designs of the buildings near Jagannath Temple . It will be certified soon .
